One of the most frequest questions we get asked is "How much does it cost?" The simple answer is, "it depends". Each vehicle in our catalog has a set daily price which varies from car to car. Factors such as number of shoot days needed, transportation, and any modifications are all factored in with each request. If there is a vehicle needed for your production, send us an inquiry and a vehicle specialist will work with you to find a solution within your budget.
How Quickly Can We Get a Car Rented and Delivered to Set?
We ask for a minimum of 72 hour notice. This gives us time to inspect the vehicles to ensure a problem free experience on set. If special requests are required, these of course will require more time. Contact us to discuss your project.
Do You Rent Cars To The General Public?
No. California Picture Cars only rents cars to accredited production entities. If you are an individual looking to rent a car for pleasure, please visit sites such as driveshare.com or Turo.com
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), Venmo, Zelle and other secure payment methods. All transactions are encrypted for your safety. Payment by cashiers check must be approved prior.

Sure, these are great platforms for renting cars, but keep in mind most owners are amateur and have limited . What is a "regional appearance package" as offered on some cars?
Regional appearance packages are available on some cars offered. These are, for example correct license plates and headlamps as found on vehicles outside the US. For example if you are shooting a scene taking place in Germany we can dress the car as it would appear in that country with the correct bumpers, headlamps and license plates to ensure a technically correct appearance.
